We're Back....almost!

After two years of waiting this virus out I managed to be among the lucky to get it in July. It is hard to believe it has taken such a hold on the planet but it appears as though we may be dealing with the fall out and new variants for some time. I had heard in the beginning it might be with us until 2024. Then I thought yea, that would be a drag but somewhere deep inside I knew that was the truth. At this point I am confident that Covid will be with us for some time and we must move on.

While I paused my work during the bulk of the pandemic I was able to complete some wonderful commissions and participate in a fundraising event for Art’s Council of Lake Oswego. My painted bench brought them $1000 from a supporter and kept me painting during the last year. I am so grateful to all of those who support the arts and our community is blessed with many generous souls. I am thankful to the collectors that created work for me and kept me in the studio during some secluded months as well! Let’s keep spirits rolling high as we emerge from under our various rocks and roofs to become strong and healthy for the next years to come! Keep creativity near you and enjoy your friends and family.
